Avalon - Great lap napper! 2/16/18 - Hi Annette!! She is the light of my life, my shining star, all of the above!! She hid behind my washer for a grand total of 30 minutes on the first day, and hasnât left my side ever since. She purrs so loud that I can feel it across my bed! Sheâs been eating well, using the litter box like a champ. We went to the vet and they fell in love with her. They couldnât believe she was from a colony! Her one tooth has a little chip in it, but they said it isnât a problem at the moment. I did take a few days where she was only in my living room, but by day 4 she was meowing outside my room all night so I let her in. She doesnât always go to bed with me, but Iâll wake up at 2 am and sheâs sleeping at my feet. Sheâs been extremely vocal and she has the cutest little chirpy meow. Sometimes she meows for food, but most of the time itâs just for attention, haha!! All my friends are crazy for her. Sheâs met my mom and a friend, and did great both times; she went right up to them to get pets. It took her a while, but sheâs getting more and more into toys. She really likes the hunting ones, probably since that was her past life! I fell asleep on the couch and I woke up to her running around with her little mouse toy. Sheâs a very content girl. She still wonât go in the kitchen- I wonder if the flooring feels weird or something. I donât mind. She knows how to sit in the window frame, but rarely does. Usually when I come home, sheâs sitting on the couch where I normally sit. Anyway, Iâll follow up in a second email with some pictures! Thanks so much for everything! Anna |
