Billie Jean - A cat's companion

5/18/21 - Hi! I just wanted to say thank you again for Billie Jean and send some pictures of her. She has settled in fully and is a complete love-bug. She and Polly wind around my ankles together at meal times (and wake me up before my alarm in the morning for breakfast). She plays like crazy with catnip toys, looks out the windows all day, and loves pets and belly rubs. She follows me around almost every time I get up, just in case it's time for wet food or treats. Total sweetheart and the princess of the house now - thank you so much!

Baby Roger

4/2/15 - Hi Judy! I hope this email finds you well. Elizabeth and I just wanted to thank you again for Roger. He's been a tremendous addition to our family. Really, I could not have hoped for a better experience. Incredibly affectionate, social, and healthy. Neither one of us have ever had the pleasure of owning such a happy, pleasant pet. He looks the part of an adult cat now, but he's just as active as when we first brought him home. Nothing but good news to report! As he grows closer to adulthood, we wanted to share some pictures with you. We didn't forget our conversation back in September, that you wanted to see pictures as he grew up. Well, here they are! We hope you and your other fostered kittens are well! Best Regards, Alex

Bitsy and Wellington-rescued from euthanasia!
Bitsy and Wellington-rescued from euthanasia!

Theresa,

Its been a while since Bitsy and Wellington joined our family.  They were able to relax and become part of our family, even thought they'd had a hard life previously.  I wanted to thank you for your help in finding them.

A couple of weeks ago, Bitsy crossed the rainbow bridge.  She was a sweet and loving dog and shared her love with us up to the last day.  We hope that she found a good home for the last year and half.  You made a good decision to take these two in, they are/were sweet and loving as much as they could be.  Whatever they went through prior to meeting us, it was horrible.  The people should be  punished.

Hope this find you well, and still saving good pets

Thank you and take care

Briar - PERFECT family dog!
Briar - PERFECT family dog!

It's been almost a year since we adopted Briar.  Already knowing he is an amazing pooch.  He did something yesterday that truly impressed me.  I would say all of us.

We had 40 to 50 people here yesterday.  A lot of whom were strangers to him.  And this dog casually wandered around everyone, not being pushy, aggressive, or anything.  Just being the perfect dog.  He was spectacular.  I hardly noticed he was here.  He just blended in so well.

This was a poster child moment for pre owned dogs, Castaway Critters, and the pit bull mix breed.

It would have been a damn shame if this guy didn't get out of the shelter.  I think we helped him a lot by giving him a home.  But, he gives back to us an equal amount or more every day and he doesn't even realize it.

If you are really good at something, you eventually rise up from the ranks of an amateur and turn pro.  Briar is a Professional Dog.
