Contact Billie Jean - A cat's companion's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Annette (alr20@comcast.net) Great with other cats!
Billie Jean is a sweet senior who seems most comfortable with other cats. It's not that she's unsocialized to humans; she's friendly and approachable and likes the occasional pat on the head. But she really likes to spend time with her feline housemates. If you're looking for a companion for an older or calm cat, consider adopting Billie. She's the perfect litter box user. Her recent senior wellness bloodwork came back normal, although she definitely needs to lose some weight. Just over a year or so ago, she had dental surgery, which she came through with flying colors after having 6 teeth extracted and a general cleaning. So she's all set for her new home. Billie came to us after her owner died of cancer. Her caretaker lived in the city of Harrisburg in a very poor neighborhood where there were lots of stray cats. The woman cared for many of them during her lifetime, getting them spayed or neutered, feeding them, and providing them with shelter, either outdoors or in her home. Billie was one of the indoor cats, and according to her owner's daughter, her mother's favorite. Billie is spayed, current on her vaccines, and microchipped. She's tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. For more information about this nice, low-maintenance kitty, contact her foster mom Annette (that's me) at alr20@comcast.net. To begin the adoption process, please complete an adoption application that's available here on the web site.
