Do you know how much love an elderly animal can bring into your life? Do you know how appreciative and loving they are? Bitsy (mother) and Wellington (son) were rescued from being euthanized by their owner because she had lost her job, her home, and all her belongings and could no longer afford to care for them. Castaways took Bitsy immediately to the vet's and got her vetted. It was determined that she is fairly underweight and had poor muscle mass in her hind end. We are therefore feeding her lots of good food and trying to put some weight back on her! Wellington, the son, is smaller than Bitsy and is in good health! They are very attached to each other and need to stay together. They are both very well behaved, loving dogs and just need a safe place to spend the rest of their days! Could you be that special person/family to give these poor dogs a forever home? They are both being professionally groomed this week and will be looking splendid! Check back for updated pictures! And please consider filling out an application for these 2 wonderful dogs! A $100.00 adoption donation will make both dogs yours with a completed, approved application!!!
