Avalon - Great lap napper! 2/16/18 - Hi Annette!! She is the light of my life, my shining star, all of the above!! She hid behind my washer for a grand total of 30 minutes on the first day, and hasnât left my side ever since. She purrs so loud that I can feel it across my bed! Sheâs been eating well, using the litter box like a champ. We went to the vet and they fell in love with her. They couldnât believe she was from a colony! Her one tooth has a little chip in it, but they said it isnât a problem at the moment. I did take a few days where she was only in my living room, but by day 4 she was meowing outside my room all night so I let her in. She doesnât always go to bed with me, but Iâll wake up at 2 am and sheâs sleeping at my feet. Sheâs been extremely vocal and she has the cutest little chirpy meow. Sometimes she meows for food, but most of the time itâs just for attention, haha!! All my friends are crazy for her. Sheâs met my mom and a friend, and did great both times; she went right up to them to get pets. It took her a while, but sheâs getting more and more into toys. She really likes the hunting ones, probably since that was her past life! I fell asleep on the couch and I woke up to her running around with her little mouse toy. Sheâs a very content girl. She still wonât go in the kitchen- I wonder if the flooring feels weird or something. I donât mind. She knows how to sit in the window frame, but rarely does. Usually when I come home, sheâs sitting on the couch where I normally sit. Anyway, Iâll follow up in a second email with some pictures! Thanks so much for everything! Anna
Abner - Sweet, shy lap cat 8/23/16 - Hello Annette, I just wanted to let you know Abner is adjusting nicely. There have been no litter box issues. He likes the boys and doesn't mind our dog Shadow. He loves catnip toys and my sons slippers, he has also claimed my reading chair:) I think he's comfortable and we love him as part of our family!!! Kind regards, Staci
Angel - Declawed Sweetie 1/20/14 - Nancy, I couldn't ask for a better pet. She's right by my side wherever I am in the house. I've been surprised a few times at her playfulness. She plays with her toy mouse a lot and she was chasing her own tail the other day which was quite comical. She loves to nap on the top of my recliner by the window too. I believe she's enjoying it here. I've attached a photo of Angel lounging in one of her favorite spots. In the middle of the living room floor of course. She has full roam of the house but almost always chooses to follow me to whatever room I'm in. I believe her favorite things are treats and being petted though. So happy to have Angel here. Thanks again and happy new year! > Brandon
Alfalfa - SOOO Calm! PERFECT family pet!! Alfalfa's first Christmas with his new boy and girl! :) Happy, happy boy!
Ava - Very affectionate lap cat! 4/20/13 - Hi Annette, We think Ava is doing great and that she was an excellent choice for us. She likes to be where we are most of the time. She hasn't shown much interest in eating, but she has eaten some, both dry and canned, and has been drinking, so I'm not really worried about it at this point. She did really well during the night and even slept with us on and off. Then this morning she seemed a little upset and meowed quite a bit, but soon she was relaxed and calm again. She was probably homesick when she woke up in the "wrong" place with the "wrong" people! I love having her here! Hope Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
