RAINBOW BRIDGE

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

~Paul C. Dahm

Tigger -# 20133 the gray Tiger
Died 3/27/2012 - Lovingly cared for by Foster Caregiver Stacey. Tigger was a young adult cat who never seemed to get healthy. He was a wonderful cat who was very much loved by his foster caregiver. We will miss him - he had sweet face.

Tim (Harry) # 12307
Died on 4/16/2012 - Sweet Tim, loving cared for by foster caregiver Diane, we adored him and lost him too soon. Tim was suffering and we had to let him go.

Tiny Tim
Tiny Tim lost his battle after 23 days of life. We took him in from a location in Harrisburg on April 22, he was just born and stil had his umbilical cord attached. Two siblings came with him. Tiny Tim died on Weds May 6, 2009 while in the good and loving care of Jen G. our special foster caregiver. Much love to you Tiny Tim.

TONY
Tony was a sick senior cat who was hyperthyroid when we took him to the vet. Tony was a wonderful boy who was found on a cold winter day in Lower Paxton Township by kind people. He lived out his last 6 months in a castaway critters foster home with lots of love, food, medical care and a favorite bed to sleep in. We miss him.

TRAPPER
Trapper was a cat found in Cleona next to the railroad tracks with his siblings -these cats were just thrown there -and Trapper had an obvious broken leg. Trapper was takin in by Patricia B. one of our great volunteers and vetted at Animal Hospital of Dauphin County where his leg had to be amputated. Although Trapper made a good recovery from the amputation, he did not do well after he was neutered a few months later and we believe his sudden dealth was caused by complications from a vaccine. Poor Trapper was not on this earth for long but we cared for and loved this boy cat.
