Hannah On August 27, 2007, we had to put our beloved Chow/Shepherd mix dog, Mia to sleep. She could no longer walk or stand. It was heartwrenching and we miss her very much. We also have a Boxer named Chevy who was missing Mia too. In September, my kids and I went to an adopt-a-thon at the Petsmart in York, PA. That is where we met Hannah and her foster mom, Jeanne. We really liked her and Chevy seemed to be fine with her. Jeanne was kind enough to let us all come to her house the next evening to see Hannah again. Hannah and Chevy got along great. A few days later, we took Hannah home. It was a rough start as Hannah had a new family and home to get adjusted to. We had a few potty problems the first month. Hannah finally caught on to what she was supposed to do and now she only has an occasional accident. Hannah is a very sweet and loving dog. She loves to snuggle with her humans and with her big brother, Chevy too. She and Chevy have a great time running around the house and playing. We could not have asked for a better playmate for Chevy. She is the perfect match for his fun-loving Boxer personality. He does not mind her using him for a pillow either as shown in this picture. Hannah loves the kids too. She and our son have hit off and are great buddies. When I took her to our vet he said she has a "happy-go-lucky" personality and that she does! She is always happy! We love Hannah very much and we are so glad to have her in our family. She is our little "Hannah Banana!" Thank you, Dawn |
