Theodore Terrific - Great with cats & people!
Theodore Terrific - Great with cats & people!

3/15-Theodore is an absolute gem :) We "introduced" Theodore & Pumpkin on Monday afternoon with Theodore in the carrier. Pumpkin went up to the carrier and hissed and growled but then walked away and stayed in the room with us. So after a little bit we let Theodore out just to see. Pumpkin continued with the hissing and growling but still did not leave. Theodore turned his head away and then laid down with his back to Pumpkin :) So Theodore, in my opinion, is letting Pumpkin know that Pumpkin is in charge. Since then we have only kept Theodore in our bedroom during the night and canned feeding times. The main reason for that is because Pumpkin is a grazer with regards to his food so we need to leave it out where he can get it over night without Theodore trying to eat it. Currently when we feed them it's separately. They get dry food first and then about an hour later we give them some canned food - we do this 2x a day. Theodore grazes with his dry food but inhales the canned food. Pumpkin is still hissing and growling but not quite as much so hopefully with time that will stop. When they are out together, they continue to keep their space and not bother each other. I just thank God there hasn't been any physical fighting! I'm sending a couple of pictures... one is of the two of them with no hissing or growling ;-) and the other is what happened this morning! We take Theodore to the vet this coming Thursday.

2/17/15 - Good morning Annette. Twinkie is doing great! She loves us and is still getting use to the dog. She jumped on my bed the first night and follows my husbands every step in the am as he gets ready for work. She is just a wonderful cat. We crate our dog at night as we always have and this helps. Thank you. Lori

Tigger - Constant Companion!

Hi Annette. Tigger is such a wonderful kitty that I can't believe anybody just gave him up like that. He's very sociable and as friendly as could be. He had his first vet. appointment today and everything went just great. The only thing Dr. Hartman said he's a big boy alright. He's doing just great and still getting along great with everyone else. 5/25/10 - Fluffy and Tiger are doing just great!!!! My other cat has even warmed up to them much quicker than I expected! They have been a great addition to our family! They hide under the bed any time our dog comes upstairs, but other than that, they have full run of the house now and have never missed the litter box. They have been so sweet and are very tolerant of my children always wanting to carry them around! Kayleigh loves to dress Tiger in her doll clothes and he just lets her! Thanks Annette! We love them!! Wendy :)

Troy - Lovable lap cuddler!
Troy - Lovable lap cuddler!

3/10/10 Hello, Annette- In just these few days since adopting him, Troy has adapted amazingly well to his new home. By Monday evening, he was playing with his siblings as if they had never been apart. He follows them around the house and hangs out with the other cats as well. He is so much fun to play with . . . I could just play with him all day! He was intimidated by the dogs at first, but now he walks right up to them and rubs against them. My male Doberman has taken an interest in him, always checking up on him. Troy is enjoying exploring his new surroundings. He likes watching the fish in our aquariums. He has also found that the dogs' beds are a warn, comfy place to sleep. When Steve or I are using the computer, he either sits in our lap(s) or finds a spot to hang out on the computer desk. He is very sweet and affectionate -- so easy to love. We're so happy we decided to adopt him and reunite him with Vincent Ross and Vivien Tulip. I'll send you pictures as soon as I have the opportunity to take some good ones. Amy and Steve
