Midnight Magnificent - Black Pearl Special!

10/4/13 - Hello Annette. The first week with Zach (formerly Midnight) has been great. Makes me sad I didn’t get him earlier! He has made himself right at home. He is always near one of us when we are sitting still. He likes to be touching us too, just has a paw laid out to make sure we are there! He and the dog (Kaitlin, adopted from CC) are now able to lay next to each other and walk around each other with no hisses. The other cats and he are great too. Looks like he found his forever home! Hope all is well with the other cats in your home. Diane and Jim 11/5/13 - Update - Hi Annette Just wanted to let you know Zach continues to be an amazing cat. He is so loving and playful and is very content here. He and the other cats are all sleeping on our bed at night and playing. He and Katie the cc dog seem too have a special connection. Many nights those two are in the room with us while the other cats are in other rooms T hanks so much for all the love you give your cats to make them great pets Diane and Jim

Hi Theresa….Gabby continues to do well.  She had fun at the beach rolling and digging in the sand, but didn’t like the water so much! She didn’t pee from when we left the house at 3:30 pm, til the next morning! We stayed in a hotel  below Richmond the first night  and she wouldn’t pee for anything!! Wish I could go that long!! She did better once we got to the beach house and settled in. She is now out and about in the house while we are at work and has had no accidents in 2 weeks! Darryl is trying to get her to become a better “walker”, she likes to lead….! She is a good girl and we love her! We are thinking about another Shi-Tzu/Poodle puppy if you ever hear of any. Don’t know if Castaways sees many smaller breed dogs. Let us know if you hear of any. Hope you are doing well, have a good summer.

(Now known as Miley) 12-29-2011 Hi Kris! It's funny that you sent me an email today....I was thinking about you on my way to work this morning!! Thank you for the Christmas card. The picture below is from about a month ago. Miley is great!! We all love her to pieces!! I call her my fur baby & Will is my real baby. Will laughs when I say that. She just loves being near us, especially at night cuddling beside us on the couch. We went to Petsmart last week to get her a rain coat & sweater. She's not fond of that store....she gets nervous & shakes & wants Mike or I to hold her. I still think she has fears that we're going to leave her. After I tried a few sweaters on her, she relaxed a bit & started sniffing around the store. She loves going in the car for visits to my sister's & parent's houses. My parents laugh how she follows me everywhere!! They said we should have named her Shadow. Last night we were visiting my parents & she was so comfy on their sofa, she didn't want to get up & leave w/ us. That was a first! My mom loved it....she would totally keep her (but she's MY dog!) Mike walks her twice a day...not terribly long walks, mostly just around the block, but she enjoys it. How are your dogs? Are you fostering any dogs right now? I hope you had a Merry Christmas!
