1/30/13 - Marli is a 2 year old Yellow Lab Retriever that was brought to a shelter in West Virginia where she quickly won the hearts of shelter workers.  She is reported to be a LOVELY dog with a very pleasing demeanor, wanting to earn praise and be loved.  She responds so positively to attention and gives the shelter volunteers the indication that she has never been shown what love is.  The shelter director reports that she has been very neglected in her short life so far!  She is calm and obedient and ready to find that special family who wants to be a part of her success story!  She LOVES to be petted, kissed and will readily sprawl across your lap for loving!  She came very close to reaching the end of her stay at the shelter and Castaways just could not let that happen, so TODAY she was officially "pulled" and is now considered "safe."  Nothing bad will happen to sweet Marli now!  She will arrive in Pennsylvania most likely on February 16th (PERHAPS the 9th) depending on transport (and of course weather!).  Would YOU like to make Marli part of your family?  Could you love her forever?  She will be a wonderful pet!  Please consider filling out the on-line application to make her yours!
