It was a dark and stormy night when Morticia came into the care of Castaway Critters...

Well, no, not really. It was dark and mostly dry when Tish and her brother came to us from the York SPCA. She was named Morticia because she is a little bit kooky, but mostly because she shares the same self-assured spunk as her namesake. Tish lets no man or beast keep her from what she wants (which, most of the time, is food). She is a rough-and-tumble girl who loves to wrestle with her brother, Gavin. She is also an unrepentant troublemaker. Her favorite prey is the common houseplant, and upon extraction and scolding will purr as though you've just offered her a bowlful of cream. Tish knows she is adorable, and that it's impossible not to forgive her. Just look at that fluffy little face!

She also bears an impressive record: two costume contest wins for her portrayal of a tarantula this past Halloween. Tish wasn't surprised. She already knew she was a winner.

If you're looking for a kitten who plays hard, purrs harder, and is so fluffy you could just die, then Tish is the one for you.

  • Kittens are happiest with friends! Tish loves to play, so a home where the family has time to interact with her or already has animals would be ideal. Even better would be a dual adoption with her brother, Gavin.
  • She is up-to-date on all age appropriate shots and has been microchipped. She is friendly with other cats.

  • Morticia will not be adopted into a home where declawing is a possibility.
