Contact Isabeau - a real cat's cat's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Dani (lodiablos@yahoo.com)
Izzy is a gorgeous girl who is very scared of new things. She requires a calm home with no young children and another cat. She came from a hoarding situation in the city with 40+ other Siamese cats and kittens and no socialization. Izzy is a cat's cat and would be very happy to simply live in her own home keeping another cat company while they're humans work or travel. She's been in foster care since March and tho she has come far she is not a cat that will likely ever be a snuggly lap cat. She enjoys being in the room where things are happening but does not desire to be touched or petted She enjoys treats and will take them from your hand, we've gotten as far as stroking her tail gently while giving treats. However if you work a lot or travel and feel your kitty would enjoy a friend and playmate this is your gal. She loves other cats and had bonded strongly with 5 of the 6 kitties in her foster home, including the kitten. Or if you love the looks of a Siamese but not the demanding nature that is common of the breed Izzy just may be your ideal cat. This girl has a high prey drive so while she will ensure your home is free of vermin she will also view any small furry pets as prey so shouldn't be considered if you have hamsters, gerbils, ferrets etc. With more time and a patient owner Izzy may one day be a loving cat who craves human interaction but right now she prefers to watch from the sidelines. She won't enjoy a home with children, too much activity. Same goes for high energy dogs but she does just fine with a generally calm dog who has only moments of excitement. Izzy does require a certain home but I'm sure it's out there She is spayed, vaccinated and hasn't had any trouble using the litter box . Her fellow Siamese rescue Fezzik is also available for adoption and they wouldn't mind going together if you have the desire for two beauties.
