An older beagle ready to have babies any minute was lost and alone and needing help.  She wandered into a home, and luckily, the residents were a nice family who cared.  They reported the situation to the shelter, but they agreed to let the little momma-to-be stay and have her little ones and come to the shelter when they were older.  The puppies, seven of them, were born on July 16, 2014. 

Castaway Critters only has 2 of them. The others went to a different rescue.  (Epic and Hamlet)From the looks of the babies, there might have been more than one dad.  Some look spaniel and beagle.  Others look like dad might have been a border collie.  Whatever their mix, mom is a sweetheart and the babies adorable.  These little pups are growing and changing and are going to be really nice doggies.  Mom is going to be adopted by the family who took her in, but her babies need forever homes. 

Epic is chocolate and white.  What an adorable boy!  He can be held like a baby, and he doesn't mind a bit.
