July 4 - Hi! My name is Lilly and I am pretty, petite 1 year old Lab mix who was taken to a shelter in West Virginia on June 25, 2012 as a stray. Since my previous owners never showed up to reclaim me, I am now available for adoption. The shelter where I was taken was hit by terrible storms and had no power OR water ... so one of the Castaway Critters volunteers actually DROVE down to West Virginia today, July 4th, to get me out and rescue me! I am so happy to come to Pennsylvania! I have watched a lot of other dogs from the shelter where I was taken leave and head for Pennsylvania and I hear the volunteers in the office talking about what great homes they get! I really want a great home of MY own!!! I am very lovable, gentle and have a laid back personality and wonderful temperament. I am good on a leash and very well mannered yet still playful. If you allow me, I will try climbing in your lap and sitting there, but I am a little large for that. I to do well with other dogs and with children. I will be spayed before adoption and up to date on vaccinations and basic worming. Please consider filling out an on-line application to make me YOURS!!!! :)
