Sadie is a beautiful little girl who came to us from a high-kill West Virginia shelter. She LOVES to play with other dogs; however, she is a little apprehensive around people when she first meets them. This is most likely a trait of her breed; we had been trying for some time to figure out what she may be, and I was recently sent an e-mail from a person who owns a Carolina Dog. She sent me some links to check out, and Sadie Sue is more than likely mixed with this breed. Sadie has been coming around nicely and has shown the ability to be a very loving dog. She now loves to be petted and just craves attention.

Whoever adopts Sadie Sue must realize that it will take a couple of weeks for her to feel comfortable in her new home. Once you gain her trust, she becomes your best friend. (A home with another dog would be great!)
