CaraMiaMia is a lucky little girl looking for her forever home after quite an uncertain start in life. During Hurricane Irene, CaraMiaMia's mother Galizia,  just went into someone's home where she had four kittens.  Mom and babies were then taken to York SPCA, from which they were fortunately transferred to our rescue when CaraMiaMia was about three weeks old.  Although her "teenage mom" Galizia was a nurturing and fiercely protective mother of the other three kittens, she refused to nurse CaraMiaMia, even though she did protect her.  CaraMiaMia was bottle fed and cared for by her foster caregiver, but was kept with the litter so that she would learn appropriate kitten behavior.  She was such an "ugly monkey" kitten and so different in looks from the others that her caregiver still questions if she was one of the Mom's babies.  

CaraMiaMia has turned from "ugly monkey" kitten to a "beautiful exotic" kitten.  She obviously has a Main Coon/Norwegian Forest Cat heritage, with tufts in her ears and between her toes, medium length very silky fur, fluffy tail, and delicate, cinanamon colored face. 

CaraMia is the complete package in a kitten--beautiful, playful, gentle, and affectionate!  She loves snuggling under the covers with her caregiver, purring and kneading the fleece blanket.  She gets along well with other kittens and cats. 

CaraMiaMia is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FLV negative, and up to date on her shots, and has learned to use a scratching post.
