Domestic Short Hair - gray and white / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed)
Here is the story of Tigger, Shadow and Baby girl. On July 2, 2007 during a bike ride my 18 year old son found 3 kittens huddled together on the white line of the road Old Route 22 near Newport. He thought it was just one cat until he approached them and they ran to him. He immediately called me to find out what we should do. We currently have one house cat, Peanut, left out in the winter, who we rescued on January 3, 2007. She is a very healthy indoor cat now. I took the 3 kittens home, knowing that I could not keep them, but also knowing that that they would not be injured by the roadside and would at least be cared for until I could find a home for them. Baby Girl, don’t let the name fool you. She has two brothers Shadow and Tigger. She may be small but is very independent and does not let the boys do anything without her approval first. She loves to romp and is sometimes rougher than the boys. She also has a soft side and loves to play and be petted. All three cats are very lovable, playful and have become friends with Hank the yellow lab. They all need a loving home. It would be wonderful to have them all three adopted together. If not, I am sure they will make themselves comfortable with anyone who will love them and give them a home where they can play and be safe.
