Amelia came into our rescue with a very small survival rate. Her face was covered in pus, and she smelled like death. As an outdoor kitty, she found her way to a couple who was feeding her and begged for help. They contacted Castaway, and the rest is history. 

Amelia has been through so much with her recovery. She had a blood parasite that was literally sucking the life from her. Extremely dangerous URI's, anemia and emaciation. After several months, bags of fluids, countless antibiotics  & steroids and lots of love - SHE IS READY FOR HER FUR-EVER HOME!

Amelia is cat, dog and kid friendly. She is up to date on her vaccines & will be available to go home 3/15 after a successful spay. She is FIV/FELV negative, and is microchipped.

Amelia is an affectionate cat when she wants to be, and loves to spend her days in the tiniest hiding spaces she can find! She loves to eat, but is a social eater! She will need to be adopted into a home that already has a kitty or two!
