Captain and his siblings (Cocoa, Carly, Chris, and Cathe) were born to a neighborhood stray  and taken in when they were about five weeks old. The family that took them in did an amazing job socializing them, and all of the kittens are very friendly and comfortable with strangers quickly. 

Captain is a very handsome fellow, with a very fluffy coat, so he may be a medium haired cat as he gets older. He is super cuddly, and always comes over to greet his foster mom or visitors when they come into the foster room. He's very athletic and playful, loves toys, loves to cuddle. Like all kittens, he would do best being adopted with one of his siblings for a playmate, or into a home with a young, playful cat.

Captain and his siblings have interacted with a dog and with young children (ages 2 and 5) and been wonderful in both situations, and would do fine in a home with a cat-friendy dog and/or young chldren who have learned to handle young cats kindly. 

Captain is negative for FIV/FELV,  uses the litter box faithfully, will be neutered and fully vaccinated and ready to be adopted around February 12th, just in time for Valentine's Day.
