Maddie came up from KY – owner surrender bc dogs got too old.  Really??  In my mind, that’s when they are at their best.   Both would enjoy being in a quiet house.

Maddie (black): Is the 9 year old - she likes cuddles, attention and is "barky" outside when she sees something - people, birds, nothing, etc.   Inside, very quiet.  She has a flea allergy which  will get treated.  Also, very skinny.  Gets along with other dogs.  Doesn’t like the crate too well but will tolerate.  Walks beautifully on a leash and likes to nap during the day in a stream of sun light.  Has not been tested with kids or cats.

Likes to sleep in bed with owner and plays with stuffed animals - favorite will go with her upon adoption!!

Maddie ws surrendered to a high kill shelter in KY when they got old.

Her adoption donation includes spaying, vaccinations, implanting of a microchip, application of flea meds and worming.

Maddie is in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting her. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.
