How about making Social Distancing a thing of your past with a ray of sunshine waking you each morning with a soft kiss and “paw to the face”? My name is Daisy. I’m a very smart and frisky little gal weighing in at about 39# dripping wet. My outside “racing speed” can only be outdone by my soft cuddle gentle side as I try to curl up to you for some popcorn and a movie following a long hard day. At the tender age of about 2, I have already had a litter of pups as my “saggy baggy nipples” share my down side of past life. Well, no more. Mom/dad feel I’m about perfect, walk “fairly good” on leash, come when called and they are sure I could be fine off leash in a yard without a fence with just a little more work and yummy treats! Although a little timid at first towards other dogs, it takes me NO TIME to come around and encourage a game of chase. Yes, I’m a site to see as I “blow the socks off” of the competition. I move, grove, shake and shimmy in all directions leaving others in my dust! Yes, we are then buddies for life! Unfortunately, my past life again sets the tone of my personality. Though sweet and social once I feel safe, my initial response is uncertainty. A simple raised hand, object or voice does cause me to hesitate even when I do trust you. Loud noises, screams or commotion does also cause me to cower. With this in mind, mom/dad feel a home without young children 24/7 would be best. Occasional visit which allow me breaks would be fine. I have never shown aggression, just fear. So there I am, laid out for you to consider if I’m to be the “spring in your Spring”. Daisy, like the flower, wants to open up your each and every day with a smile, lick and maybe a walk for some exercise! I surely won’t be up for adoption long… go ahead, get it in… Hurry…. Yep, I mean you….. if you dare!!!
Her adoption donation includes spaying, vaccinations, implanting of a microchip, application of flea meds and worming. Daisy is in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting her. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.
