Bluebell and his sister, Ursula, are the last two kittens from a litter of four born inside of a dry-docked boat. Rescued at just two days old, the siblings have shown without a doubt that they are both survivors.

Blue is a high-spirited kitten with a lot of energy. He needs a family that is patient with him, as he is still working on his manners. Any companions would also need to be of similar temperament, as he tends to run roughshod over gentler playmates.

Now for the good part: he is a high-spirited kitten with a lot of energy! He is all joyful, exuberant kittenhood. He loves to play, and is great fun to watch. Raised as a bottle baby, Bluebell thinks of humans as part of his pride and flips from playful to snuggly at the drop of a hat. He may not be in your lap all of the time, but you can bet he's nearby no matter what you're up to; he likes to be where the action is.

If you're looking for a kitten to spice up your life with energy, mischief, and joy, then Bluebell is the kitten for you.

  • Kittens are happiest with friends! Bluebell loves people, so a home where the family has time to play with him or already has animals would be ideal.
  • He is up-to-date on all age appropriate shots, is FIV and FeLV negative, and has been microchipped. He does not live in a home with dogs or children. He is friendly with other cats.
  • Bluebell will not be adopted into a home where declawing is a possibility.
  • If you would like to know more about Bluebell, you can contact his foster mom, Molly, at terrivai@yahoo.com. If you're interested in adopting him, please fill out an online adoption form on our website, castawaycritters.org.

Bluebell the Kitten's sister, Ursula the Kitten (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
