Max aka Bryant The story of Max. (Bryant when being fostered) After losing my 13 year old Maine Coon cat Bailey I knew that I would never live without a Maine Coon cat in my life. I told our favorite foster Mom about our lose and told her I was going to look for a purebred and she simply made the statement to me "please don't forget us, sometimes we might have exactly what you are looking for". This stuck with me and I went home and changed my computer search to the Castaway Critters web site and there he was. In all of his skinny little glory sitting in a crate was this cute little part Maine Coon kitten. I immediately got in touch with my foster Mom and said 'Let's get the wheels rolling, I want this little guy". Max (aka Bryant) still needed to be neutered so we had to wait 2 weeks to get him. When Max came home he was all boy. He wanted to rule the roost but had a few in line ahead of him. He was wild at times and especially loved to chase the "challenged" girls. He ended up knocking Rosie off of a table and it broke her bad leg. I was ready to send Max back but not being one to give up on anything, we gave him another chance and he has turned into a wonderful, gentle, loving big boy that is in his forever home. Naomi |
