Waffles originally came to us as a stray from a high kill shelter in Kentucky. He was adopted to a local family with small children.  The running and playing of the 5 yr old and his friends got the better of his cattle dog instincts to herd by nipping at heels.  That and his separation issues caused him to be returned to us.  

He is a sweet, laid-back fella that has out-grown all the puppy antics, but is young enough to enjoy many more years in the right home. He is fine with children over 10.  He is housetrained...loves outside activities.  He would be a nice dog to take hiking or on long leisurely walks. He is good on a leash with a harness...he pulls a little with just a collar.  

His adoption donation includes neutering, vaccinations, implanting of a microchip, application of flea meds and worming.

Waffles is in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting him. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.
