A momma dog named Winter came into a WV shelter with four puppies, three girls (Burr, Season, and Parka) and one boy (Glacier).  They had done the best they could in the muddy environment in which they were living, but they were soon warm and dry and given soft beds, toys, food, and water.  They were given baths and snuggled by shelter staff and volunteers until they warmed up.  Then they snuggled one another!  The girls are all black and white and look more like their momma than their brother.   Parka is very cute and loves to snuggle. She loves to play with toys and loves people, kids and other dogs. She will chase the cat, but only because she wants to play, Parka has the softest fur. She has just een spayed and looking for her forever home. She is doing well on her potty training.

Her adoption donation includes spaying, vaccinations, implanting of a microchip, application of flea meds and worming.

Parka is in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting her. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.
