This is Sallie. As of 12/26/06, Sallie was 7 wks old. She is female and is believed to be beagle/spaniel mix. Tallie, Sallie's brother, is also on site and is available for adoption. Sallie was brought into a shelter as a stray on 12-23-06 and was parvo tested negative at that time. She will have received her first shots, but will need to receive updated shots and a rabies shots in three weeks, along with continued worming from her new owner. She will also need to be neutered at or before 6 months per our adoption contract by her new owner.

If you are interested in a nice gal for a buddy, Sallie is a great choice with smaller children because she will probably not get large enough to knock them over.

Remember that puppies NEED training and we strongly recommend a puppy training class with all adopted puppies. When untrained puppies become teenagers, they are often difficult to control. Teenage dogs are the most likely to be returned to us or turned into a shelter. Early training can prevent problems!
