There are many myths that people are unaware of out this beautiful breed of dog. Pits can make wonderful, loving pets and are a highly mis-interpreted breed. We would prefer people with knowledge or Pit experience to apply to these sweet babies as they do require a certain amount of training and knowledge of the breed to truly appreciate them.

Pit Bulls were not created to perform the task of protection. In most cases, Pit Bulls are just too friendly to be good at this. They may "look" scary, but as soon as someone smiles at them, most Pits think they have made a new friend.

Most Pits are excellent with children. Since thy were bred to perform in the pit, they have a high tolerance for pain and with patiently endure the "abuse" young kids unintentionally dish out to them. However, they should be supervised at all times with small children.

Most Pits are NOT human aggressive and usually when a Pit attacks, it is because it has been trained to do so.
