Pace is about 8 months old. He came into a shelter as stray and is looking for a new home and family. He is leash trained and loves to go for walks, and he has the beagle bay sound when he barks. Pace has a short smooth coat, brown eyes, a long tail and weighs about 25 lbs. We've found Pace to be an active, playful dog. Although his age is listed as 8 months, he may actually be a bit younger. He loves to sprint around the house and go for frequent walks (runs!) Until he gets past his puppy stage, I wouldn't recommend him to families with infants/toddlers due to his playful nipping. He is crate trained, however, he has occasionally been sleeping in our room! Update after 1 week: Although Pace is still very active and full of energy, his nipping when playing has greatly improved. He loves to wrestle with his foster brother, Charlie, but he has not been playing rough with people. He is a very sweet dog who loves to be around you as much as possible, but is also content lounging on his chair on the screened-in deck!
