This little guy had a lot happen to him in a matter of days - and who knows what happened before that.  Found lethargic in a driveway, his angel Rose from Steelton Borough Community Cats took him in and fed him - that was first and foremost.  Then she got him some vet care and found a foster - me!  He fit in with my cats and my household but didn't know what to think of me.  So I just made sure he was safe and warm and fed and otherwise ignored him, but made sure he saw me interact with my own cats.  Didn't take long.

This guy is always up for some loving but is not needy - knows his name and comes when called.  He has his favorite napping spots and toys -  hearing the bell hanging from the cat tree makes me smile as he plays with it quite vigorously.  For some reason most of my fosters lately have been female - I'm finding there is a different dynamic with a male - there was none of the hissing and heirarchy positioning - he knew where he stood and he was ok with that.  No hissing as he nosed his way into the food bowl.  He's had no exposure to dogs.  This is a sweet laid back guy - just my kind.

Larry's coat is interesting - he was all black as a kitten and then a white tuft appeared on his chest - as he gets older his undercoat is white with a black topcoat - kind of like salt and pepper.  In doing some research this is called "black smoke" and is an unusual coat.
