UPDATE: 01/21/14 - Hailey is adjusting to house living just fine! She is doing very well at housebreaking and literally runs and sits at the door when she has to go out. She loves playing with toys and loves treats. She does need some encouragement to eat her dog food but that will just improve with time. She's gone to the dog park a few times and gets better each time, she's becoming more sure of herself. She loves to chase after the other dogs and then will come to each person in the park and ask to be petted. She gets along great with kids and dogs - not tested with cats yet. She's not a barker at all inside - will occasionally bark out on walks when she sees a stranger or strange dog. She needs encouragement to go into her crate but crates wonderfully - not a peep out of her! Overall very sweet dog, wants nothing more than to be loved!

From shelter: I'm such a sweetheart - will you please love me? Hi everyone, my name is Hailey and I'm a beautiful 8 month old Collie mix that would love to be the newest addition to your family. I'm a super friendly, lovable and carefree girl that just wants a home of my own. I love to be around people and get all the love that I can. I walk great on a leash and would love to take a walk with you. I arrived at the shelter on December 20th, 2013 as a stray and I want so badly to have a loving family. I have a short tricolor coat, a long tail that wags with everyone I meet and I'm large in size weighing in at 61 pounds. (12/22/13) Will you please open your heart and home to a sweet girl like me? I just know you would love a snuggle buddy!
