Special Needs

Leo the Lion is a beautiful full grown cat who was in horrific condition when we took him into our program.  He was extremely matted and covered with filth. He had been living in and out of a basement of a home in Harrisburg and we were called in to rescue him. Thank God we did as poor Leo no only was in matted -and was in dire need of grooming - he was also found to be diabetic and could have succumbed to that had we not intervened. Leo has a very sweet personality and is very little trouble.

Leo is now on diabetic injections and doing very well. We are looking for a  forever home and will pay for his long term diabetic medication and syringes.

Note that LEO is shaved in this photo as we had to have him medically shaved and cared for. He is however a very long haired cat - and a beauty!
