4/20 - Can you believe it?  This SWEET girl was tossed out of a car on a small, rural road in Annville, PA and left to fend for herself!  She watched as her previous owner just hit the gas and drove off!  She was wandering, terrified for a week before we managed to catch her.  We put food out for her, canvased the area daily for signs of where she might be "holed up" and just kept searching for the right opportunity to save her from starvation or a tragedy that may have even resulted in her death.  She had been spied crossing both 422 and Cold Springs Road looking for food and shelter.  But persistence paid off and she is now safe and sound and will be vetted next week, as well as spayed and treated for fleas and ticks.  She has already had a flea bath and is just a wonderful, beautiful little dog!  Check out her videos!  She has obviously had some training, as she sits and shakes on command!  How someone could just toss her out like trash is beyond comprehension!  But we at Castaway Critters are dedicated to helping her life make a 180!  Please consider being a part of Spirit's success story!!!  She is just one amazing, sweet girl!
