Tucker is a smart and friendly young adult cat who was sadly abandoned in the West Shore area.  His last owner could no longer care for him so he chose to move out of their residence and leave Tucker behind!  Fortunately, he had a caring neighbor who contacted Castaway Critters to let us know that Tucker needed help.  Tucker loves people and gets along with other cats and is good with large dogs.

Tucker has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations.  When tested for FIV/Feline Leukemia, Tucker tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).  FIV is not easily transferred to other cats once the infected cat is neutered, which Tucker is.  Also, FIV is not contagious or transferable to dogs or humans.  Tucker is a very healthy cat and he is expected to have a long and happy life.  He would live peacefully as an only cat or with another FIV positve cat.
