Sable is a beautiful senior German Shepherd that sadly found herself homeless when her owner passed away. She was living in sunny Florida at the time but the owner's sister brought her back to PA to live with her and her family. Sadly the landlord say she could not stay and she was surrended to a shelter. This sweet, old girl was too stressed living life in the shelter so she came to Castaway and is happily living in her foster home with other dogs, cats and kids. She may be a senior but this girl is a wonderful companion and has perfect house manners. She eats well, sleeps all through the night and is completely house trained. Sable loves to ride in the car and sleep in her nice, soft doggie bed. She also enjoys her daily walks and made many new friends at the groomers, both two and four legged. This gentle girl would love to find a home of her own to live out her life being loved and spoiled daily. She will give back 10 times more than she takes. Sable is a special girl who loves with her whole self.
