3/9/13 - My name is Woody. One day a little while ago my family took me for a drive. They took me to a place with a whole bunch of other dogs. I thought it might have been a play date ... but then my family just drove off without me. They left me at this place in West Virginia with lots of other dogs and I have learned that they are never coming back for me. I am a good dog; they even said so. They told Rosy I am good with dogs, good withe people, good with kids, well behaved, house trained and just a real good boy. It looks like they decided to move and they didn't want to take me along ... so I got left behind. I was so sad when I found out I had no family any more. Rosy kept me at the shelter as long as she could ... but my time was running short. Finally Castaway Critters heard about me and my sad story and they sent for me to make a drive of my own! They sent me to Pennsylvania where they promised me I will find a NEW family! I just arrived today and it is a beautiful place! When I got off transport everyone commented on what a well behaved boy I was on the ride and how gentle I am! I hope that means I will find a family soon! A few people commented on my speckled coat (apparently that comes from the Cattle Dog in me). I'm told I'm really smart :) and I learn quickly. They took a video of me right off transport; I hope you watch it and that you will like me and want to make me a part of your family! I am neutered, vetted, tested for heart worm and Lyme's ... and I'm ready to come home with someone! Will you consider making me part of YOUR family? $260.00 adoption donation includes microchipping.
