Elf is a playful, sweet, well-mannered young dog.  He loves to play wrestle with his foster sister, and will bring you a toy to play tug when she won't play with him.  But he also knows how to settle and rest - he sleeps through the night in his crate.  He is housetrained, crate-trained and walks pretty good on a leash.  He learns really fast and wants to please. He loves people and most dogs.  He plays with the cats until they get tired of him. 
Children should probably be older than 10 because he gets excited and jumps.  He has long legs so he is tall when he stands up and might frighten a small child. 
He is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations, and microchipped.
