Nittany was found as a stray with her nails painted blue and a Penn State bandanna around her neck. She is very independent, but has learned to be a big snuggler. She will hop up on your lap and sleep as long as you let her.  She likes to be picked up and held and kissed.  She is good with little dogs. She is good with older kids but ones under 10 or so that move fast she will not do well with.  And that is simply because she likes to run and play, she chases them and can get under foot.  She likes canned dog food and small treats. She LOVES to run!! She has endless energy and would make a good playmate for another small dog. She has a great spunky attitude! She carries herself as if she were the Queen of England! She goes up stairs well but is hesitant going down, probably because of her short legs. She does well on a leash and is fairly quiet.  She will require a strong owner, who will consistently remind her who is boss.  If not, she will try to run the house!
