Nelly, a young neutered male Lhasa mix with an adorable underbite was surrendered to a local shelter because his owner was moving and could not take him along.  Nelly is a VERY sweet boy who has absolutely NO idea why he suddenly lost his happy home.  It is beyond us as well.  Nelly has lived in a home with children ranging from 6 years to fifteen years old.  Due to a staggering number of incoming animals at the shelter from where CC pulled Nelly, his situation was labeled "BEYOND URGENT;" his time as being "safe" was up!  

Nelly is now in a foster home and enjoying the life of leisure with his foster siblings which include dogs and cats from puppy to adults…small breeds to large…. He LOVES to be petted and “loved up”… He enjoys watching reality TV and listening to NPR, Country and Top 40 music.
