Nellie Sue is looking for a good, loving home. She was found in the Steelton area. We believe she was abandoned and left to fend for herself, which is difficult for a beautiful gal such as this. Ruthie, a kind lady who noticed Nellie, started feeding her. Nellie Sue decided to follow Ruthie into her home that same day and has not left since..and she has NO desire to go back outdoors where she was left behind. She is a little sweetie and is definitely an inside cat who loves lots and lots of attention. It is not known how she gets along with other animals or children, but her temperament is very friendly, so she probably does get along with all creatures, whether they have two legs or four.

Nellie seems to be a lap cat...she loves to jump on your lap, whether you are curled up in a chair or down on the floor playing with her. She is not declawed, but she lets you clip her nails with no fuss and she is litter-trained as well.

Nellie Sue is part Maine Coon and has medium-long hair. You can see that she has a "mane" round her neck, which is one of the traits of the Maine Coon.

If anyone could step forward and give this lovely girl a home, Nellie Sue would love you for life. She deserves love and kindness and would love to give the same to you.
