Maggie has an amazing story.  She is probably the luckiest dog alive right now ... or ONE of them, anyway!  A Castaway Critter foster was touring some rescue facilities recently on her vacation in Mississippi.  During her visit of one of the few no-kill shelters down south, among the HUNDREDS of dogs waiting to be noticed and adopted, Maggie caught her eye and her attention.  When the Castaway volunteer returned to Pennsylvania, it became her goal to help this sweet dog get OUT of that warehouse shelter.  After sharing her video clip and noticing how sweet-natured and calm she was, Castaways agreed that this was one wonderful, special girl ... and the wheels were set in motion to have her transported to Pennsylvania to begin a new life!  She arrived and is now in Pennsylvania enjoying the luxuries of home life!  She gets along famously with all the other EIGHT dogs in the house, the 2 cats and is just a JOY to have!
