My name is Roxy and everyone is pretty sure I am a purebred Dachshund. (I'm told that is a good thing!) I am very docile, lovable, sweet-natured, playful and BEAUTIFUL! My coat is so silky and lovely! I get along with all other dogs, cats, children and adults! I found myself without a home this week because my owner person had a stroke that left her unable to take care of herself and she went into a home. That's what I need now: a home. I no longer have a home. I am so sad! One day I had a loving owner and now I am a foster dog looking for a family. I came to rescue with beautiful belongings, so people tell me my previous owner must have been VERY well off! She always gave me the best of everything! I have a studded collar, a beautiful name tag, I had a pedicure ... and now I'm homeless. Would you be willing to be my family?
