Hello!  My name is Ginger.  I am 2 years old and a good little girl.  I am a Dachshund/Jack Russell terrier mix.  My foster mommy rescued me from a crackhead in the neighborhood who was selling me for $20.  I was very skinny and had fleas.  My foster mommy took me in, got rid of my fleas, and fed me lots of yummy warm food.  She also took me to get spayed and shots.   I love to cuddle up under a warm blanket and play with toys.  I am house broken and love treats.  My foster mommy can’t get over how good I am.  I only bark to be protective.  I get along with other dogs.  I like most children, but ones under 4 years old are a little overwhelming for me and they scare me.  I love to go for walks, but I do need a leash.   Everyone that meets me falls in love with me.  My foster mommy would love to keep me, but she wants me to have my own home where I am the first or second doggie in the home and not third or fourth so I can get the attention I so deserve.  My foster mommy also wants me to find a permanent home since I have been so shuffled around in my young life.  She always tells me that she will make sure that I find a home where I can grow old  with a family that will love me forever.  Please let us know if you will be my forever home and family?
