Monarch is a sweet young cat that loves to play and snuggle with other cats and kittens. He has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has been neutered. He is up to date on shots.  Monarch is a little shy around people, but does warm up when he gets to know someone.  He loves to be with other cats or kittens and is very easygoing with whatever they want to do.  He would be happiest in a home with at least one other cat.

Monarch doesn't ask for attention and doesn't purr too often.  However, he doesn't mind being picked up and is almost always very close by wherever his foster mom happens to be.  He also just realized that he kinda likes being petted, and sitting on people's laps might be fun after all.  He also likes to lay on the couch or bed on a blanket very near his people friends.  He is a really good boy - he never causes any trouble or asks for much of anything.  He also loves to help with some household chores, with his favorite one being scooping the litter box.  He runs to help as soon as he hears the scooping sound, and then thinks he is most helpful when he lays down right in the litterbox - hopefully he can find a section that has already been scooped!  Please consider Monarch for your forever friend!
