After being abandoned & left to fend for himself on the streets of Cleveland, OH, 6 month old Elliott is a true survivor. He was picked up as a stray by Cleveland Animal Control and taken to the Cleveland Kennel. Elliot was starved, emaciated, and extremely sickly due to being neglected for so long (weighed approx. 13 pounds at 5 months of age). A volunteer from the Friends of the Cleveland Kennel (a group dedicated to raising funds for the care of the homeless animals at the Cleveland Kennel) saw this puppy in his cage at the Kennel, noticeably in pain, but still managing to wag his tail & want to kiss her face! She came to his rescue the same day that he was scheduled to be euthanized. He was then taken to the veterinary clinic for week long rehabilitation, and was then boarded for the following week until a rescuer was found to take him into her adoption program.

All I would like is a family to call my own, to love them and be a part of them. I am a great boy and will make the right family a wonderful pet. I am a Pitty mix so hopefully when you aquire you have some pitty knowledge. I am still going through a puppy stage and is now at approx 6 months of age, but I missed out on my younger days because of the neglect of the human touch. But today you would never know. I am UTD on all vaccines including rabies and will be getting fixed soon, I was unable to prior because of my neglected state.
