Layla is a pretty corgi/hound mix who was found as a stray.  Layla is a very loving and affectionate dog who likes all the attention she can get.  She actually would rather just hang out with you having her head rubbed than going for a walk. She is really a "people dog" who has a very laid back, calm personality. She loves to have her belly rubbed and likes sitting close to you.

 We have now learned that Layla groans and even somewhat crosses her eyes when we are petting her correctly.  It's very comical.

Layla is extemely gentle, does well on the leash, is crate trained, and is excellent in the car.  She is also very intelligent and responds extremely well to commands.
