Lenny is the sweetest companion you could ever want. This mellow fellow is happiest being as close to people as he can possibly be. He loves attention and will reward you with hugs for petting him. Everybody is his best friend, and he's never far from our sides. Even if we go in a room and shut the door, Lenny is patiently waiting outside for the next opportunity to tag along with whatever we are doing.

Lenny is a true homebody. He goes outside long enough to do what he needs to do, but then he is ready to come back in and be with people again. He is wonderful with young children, good in the car, crate trained, and is uninterested in cats. However, Lenny is also a people dog who is sometimes reluctant to share his affection with other canines.

It is amazing how loving Lenny is considering that at one point in his life, he appears to have been mistreated. When he first came to us, Lenny's neck was very damaged from the chain and padlock that had been put on him. Today, his glorious coat has made a full recovery.
