Shar Pei / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (not spayed, but will be before adoption)
Izzy came to us as a tiny baby and will capture your heart as fast as she did ours. She is a wonderful little girl with lots of love to give. More about IzzyGood with Dogs, Good with Kids Special Needs: Izzy's mother is a 20 pound Shar Pei mix who gave birth to 12 puppies. 9 of these puppies didn't make it, they were either deformed or just died. This is why we are calling Izzy a special needs dog. She has seen a vet who says she is doing fine, a few weeks behind in learning maybe but healthy lungs and heart. He was concerned with her large belly at the time but she has no parasites and has grown into her belly. He was also concerned with her front leg turning in but that has corrected itself.
