Beagle (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult
Inca is a delightful, playful little beagle with a lot of energy and personality. She speeds around my fenced-in yard, romping with my dog, then suddenly puts on the brakes and rolls around in the grass with unabashed abandon. It is a trip just to watch her play. After playing, she zonks out just like a puppy does. Inca is a lovebug; she gives kisses and will sleep with/on you if you let her. She has an pretty, expressive face (prettier than her photo conveys) and freckles all over her legs and muzzle. Inca has a very nice temperament. She would get along with anyone, human or canine. She is OK with cats too. When you have been away for a while and return, Inca is intensely happy to see you again, and she greets you by turning into an energizer wiggle-worm. She does snatch things, however. The little thief went off with socks and underwear from my laundry basket, followed by my slippers. She moves stuffed animals that are bigger than she is. I have to laugh because she is so darn cute, but I do put away anything I think she will take. She carries things away, drops them and forgets about them. Nothing she has "stolen"has been chewed. She loves to gnaw on rawhides, so it is a good idea to keep some around. Inca's nose is important to her. A good part of her doggie experience consists of sniffing anything she can. She also barks when she gets excited, and she makes typical little beagle noises while playing. She weighs about 20 pounds, which is not exact, since it is difficult to read a scale while holding a dog. If you want a playful, happy little beagle in your life, you will not do better than Inca. Please stop by and meet her! More about IncaGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids Other Pictures of Inca (click to see larger version):
