LOLA - a beautiful kitten! Lola has a story to tell. When Lola first went into foster care she was perfectly normal. She came with her mother and her two siblings, LELA and LULA. Then at about 6 weeks of age, suddenly she was unable to walk or stand on her back legs. She was dragging her legs and it was devastating to her caregiver. She was rushed to the vet where she was treated with medications. The origin of the problem was a mystery and the prognosis was not good BUT to everyone's surprise, LOLA maintained her wonderful personality and continued to improve. Before long, and with physical therapy by her caregiver, she prevailed and improved and now can walk and run like a normal kitten. Her caregiver spent many hours stretching and moving LOLA's back legs until she could move them on her own. We feel this is real miracle. In two weeks from the onset of the paralysis, LOLA was running and playing with her sisters.
We are looking for an extra special home for this little girl - please contact her new best friend, Danielle, for more information on LOLA.
