My name is Tank.  I am a Collie/Shepherd mix.  When I arrived in Pennsylvania I was full of matted undercoat (6lbs of it).  The groomers worked on me for almost 3 hours just to get it out.  I was such a good boy during the whole thing.  I'm so glad that my skin is free from being pulled every time I move. 
I like long walks and I am good on a leash.  I will sit and lay down on command, I am housebroken, and I do well with other dogs and cats.  I will bark  to let my family know that someone or something is around the house, but quiet down quickly once you thank me for the alert.  I am great with children and love to run and play with them.  I certainly hope someone is just looking for a big lovable teddy bear because that is what I am.  I will sit by you while you are watching TV, and I'm ready for a walk and a car ride anytime!  I have a smiley face all the time, and my tail just waggs and waggs.  If you are interested in adopting me please fill out an application at www.castawaycritters.org  If you have any questions...feel free to email my foster mommy at dannyhuss@hotmail.com
